Information we collect

Contact information you give us: your name, mobile number, email address, and mailing address.
Information about your pet: name, breed, age, weight, health and behavior notes, and grooming preferences.
Vaccination records you upload or provide.
Appointment and service history, including photographs taken before and after grooming.
Payment records. Card payments are processed by Square. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Basic technical information from our website, such as your IP address, used to keep the site secure.

How we use it

To book, prepare for, and carry out grooming appointments.
To contact you about your appointments and your pet.
To keep required records, including vaccination status and signed agreements.
To take payment and keep accurate business records.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we will send you messages relating to your appointments. These include appointment confirmations, reminders, a message when your dog is ready for pickup, and notices that vaccination records are expiring.

You give consent by checking the consent box on our website contact form, by checking it when you set up your client profile, or by telling us in person and having us record it. Consent is never a condition of receiving grooming services.

Message frequency varies based on your appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You may also ask us to remove your number at any time.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging provider that delivers our messages, and only for that purpose.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

Our appointment and client management software, which stores your profile, your pet's records, and your appointment history.
Our text messaging provider, for delivering the messages described above.
Square, for processing payments.
Our email provider, for sending messages from this website.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

Photographs

We take before and after photographs of your dog as part of our records. We will only use a photograph publicly, such as on this website or on social media, if you have given us permission to do so. You can withdraw that permission at any time by contacting us.

Keeping your information

We keep client and pet records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward, so that we can serve you again and meet our record keeping obligations. Records of text messaging consent and opt outs are kept for as long as required.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
You can opt out of text messages at any time, as described above.
You can withdraw permission for photographs at any time.
